DESCRIPTION

Flexibond MPU 8240 is a two-component polyurethane adhesive. The adhesive can be applied for bonding between PVC, PP film and aluminum or other metal substrates.

CHARACTERISTICS

Good bonding strength to plastic film and aluminum or other metal substrates;
Good heat and weather resistance
High solid content, high cost effectiveness

PROCESS

1. Painting quantity (wet weight)
The painting quantity (wet weight) is around 70-110g/.
2. Ratio of Flexibond 8240A (the host) and Flexibond 8240B (the curing agent) is 15: 1. Please mix the adhesive with the suggested ratio. Stir 10 to15 minutes until uniformly mixed.
3. Working temperature:
30-60.
4. Drying
The dryer should be of adequate air volume and temperature.
5. Compound pressure
Increase the compound pressure as high as possible without affecting the appearance.
6. Curing
The curing time should be no less than 24 hours under the temperature of higher than 25.
7. Cleaning
Suggested cleaner: Methylene dichloride

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

Stored in a cool and dry place (10-25° C is recommended). Avoid damage to the package. When stored at the recommended conditions in original, unopened containers, this product has a shelf life of 6 months.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Flexibond MS 8938 2C is a high viscos, sag-resistant, two-component adhesive based on silane modified polymers, which cures to an elastic product independent of humidity. The material is free of solvents, isocyanates and silicones. After component A has been thoroughly mixed with component B (MS 8937B) the curing starts independent of humidity to form an elastic material. One hour after mixing the elastic adhesive has got a high green strength. In order to really make use of the advantage of elastic bonding, care should be taken of a sufficient dimensioning of the bonding joint. A minimum thickness is necessary so that the elastic adhesive is able to compensate the movements between the materials to be bonded under the influence of different temperatures during final use of the bonded part.
