Basic Information

This product is thermoplastic resin, polymerized from phenol and formaldehyde with catalysis. It is a pale yellow solid, soluble in organic solvents, such as alcohol and acetone and softening temperature. Solidified resin has thermal stability, water tolerance and age resistance. In addition, it has better mechanical strength, adhesion strength and electrical insulation.

E type epoxy resin is widely used in China. It is made from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. According to the manufacturing method, there are 3 types of resin: small molecule resin, molecular weight is 340-700, its softening point < 50 C and liquid in normal temp. ; middle molecule resin, molecule weight is 800-2200, its softening point is 50~ 95 C, and it is solid in normal temp. ; high molecular resin, molecular weight is 2200, its softening point > 100 C, and it is solid in normal temp.
